First picture of Canon HD GL3?

Got this pix from a distant source. http://sv1ds1.dk/canon.jpg
Corresponding to him this is the up and comming HD XM3 (GL3 to you americans). And it is HD, not HDV!!!

Pls. note that this is Area 51, and UPO's might appear. UPO - Unidentified Photografic Object! And this might well be a hoax ;^)

Gosh, you learn something everyday, I didn't know those old light sabers had LCD screens. I wonder if they've got DV pass thru too.

Makes you wonder if R2D2 is HD and if he projects his holograms in 4:3 or 16:9.

LOOKS TERRIBLE! I bet only 1 in a million people would even consider to buy this camera! It's worser than the PS3 controller!

That's a great looking "comcorder!" Whatever that is. Does anyone know what a "comcorder" is?

If you put it on its bottom it would look more like this:

We all miss hockey! The IIHF is over, Junior hockey is over, only the hockey enforcer's event in Prince George left (which is availible on PPV in canada). Man is it gonna be a fight!

Yuck!

I don"t think a Red Wing player would hoist anything that ugly over ones head, even if it were a Stanley CUP!

I don't buy it. Looks like some sort of new fangled box-camera. HD maybe. But doesn't look like a field camera at all. Probably surviellence.

Pitch up to a paid shoot with that thing and the client will get rid of you before the lunch break.

And I am sure the porn industry will find many new and interesting uses for it as well.

Anway if it shoots HD and not HDV, what type of 'HD' does it shoot??
