I know the answer to #5. It's not Tibet or Mongolia.

I also know the answer to #7. This "lake" is so large that it is usually called a sea. It starts with a "C," see? Oh, and it is completely canned with land.

The longest river would be the Nile. I don't see how the world could be sovereign. Did you mean within the sovereign territory of one nation/country?

Lilienthal is considered to be the first to actually work at the airplane and not just dream about it. The Wright Bros has the first powered flight. JAD McCurdy and his buddy Alexander Graham Bell were mucking about at Baddeck Nova Scotia with the Silver Dart but that came after. The french, Italians Germansand even Brazil were trying their best.

I think Willy from KC is right about Pizza (as we know it). if one were to get picky they could no doubt trace flat bread with goodies on it to any number of origins.

I'll drop back later when i have more time to waste.

The Nile is longer than the Amazon? Hmm...I dunno. I knew all that stuff in school, but that was way too long ago. Largest swamp in the Americas...would that be in one of the Central American countries? How about Washington, D.C.? Nah, that's a cesspool, not a swamp.

Mrs. Wilhelm, my freshman year World History teacher in high school, taught us that the Greeks invented pizza, but it wouldn't surprise me if some similar Chinese recipe predates Greek culture. The Chinese invented everything, man.
