The New GL2

Any speculation on what the new GL2 might be like?

I was looking at Canon's new offerings, and I noticed their megapixel 1/3.4" chip is making it's way down into their consumer line in the Optura 30/40. Plus they are all capable of the hi-res widescreen 16:9.

What do you think this means for the new GL2? Perhaps a new 1/2.6" chip :-p

The new Optura 30 and 40 have a 1.34" CCD? I doubt this like I doubt the world is flat. Don't you mean, 1/3.4"? (which is only 0.294")

Thanks for the link.
