Canon XL H2 Speculations.
fullhd cmos 1920x1080 sensor is pretty much a given... but @what color depths. 8-bit for life or will 10/12/16 be explored @all? does canon have even more expensive camcorder lines that do higher color depth? all captured either onboard ssd or output via hdmi/displayport/whateverp0rt.
that and interchangeable lenses that are compatible with H1... although, secretly everyone wants a "RED"-like cam with Canon's R&D. can you imagine captureing 4k using a XL system? oh baby =P. isn't it also true that downrezzing a 4k->2k looks better than capturing 2k and rendering final goods to 2k (for HD disc burning)?

Hope a better solution compared to the xl-h1
I hape that Canon brings out a XL-H1 successor that wil be a real shoulder camcorder and not a unbalanced pseudo shoulder mount camcorder
And i hope, canon XL-H2 have real manual lenses |
