Adapter screen adjustment with a Multivision filter ring?

http://www.camerafilters.com/pages/specialeffect.aspx

It seems this filter ring can be rotated and tighten with a screw. Maybe it is a convenient solution to adjust the orientation of the grond glass/focusing. Have anyone using one of these? Remove the glass in the filter and attach them between a 35mm adapter and camcorder.

I'd never trust that. With the amount of weight on the end? Certainly way more stress than it was designed for.

Of course we will need some kind of lens support accessory to support the adapter.

I believe the filter only turns. Doubt it will be any good for back focusing of the GG. There is no Z axis travel.
