Some stills from music video footage shot w/ a TRV900 and Letus 35, using a Canon 50mm and a cheap zoom lens. Let me know what ya think. On my Flickr page:

Those look really nice! Interesting to see the Letus getting used with the TRV900... very unique.

Thanks!

2 lenses:
Canon FD 50mm 1.8
Vivitar 70-210mm (mm might be a little off, don't have the lens in front of me) 2.8 I think. This lens is my fave, though the Canon is a "better" quality, the zoom gives that super shallow DOF you see.

Wide open on both lenses. Adjusted the iris on TRV.

No. I don't believe the 900 has a sharpening adjustment. It is a very sharp, clear picture as far as 3ccd video goes. Sony started pretty strong with that model. Color isn't that great, but the Canon lens adds something and I did grade it in After Effects (but the grading actually desaturated most of the color and dropped some tint and serious contrast on it). But I am now shooting with the same lens setup on a DVX100 and I still go back to this 900 footage and scratch my head. I'm shocked myself at how good it looks.
