Mini35 radial noise

Hi,

I bought a used Mini35 for the Canon XLIS and it's great but I'm facing sometimes a radial noise which is really obvious in the middle of my screen.
Is there a way to get rid of it?

Thx

If you're getting radial spinning noise near the center you must make sure your lens is set only between f1.2 (or full open) to about f4. Above f4 you will start to see the grain of the spinning ground glass.

Since you are using a Canon with your mini35 then you have additional light control on the relay lens using the secondary iris control. The best settings for the relay lens iris is between 1 and 4.

If you need additional light control you should be using ND filters on the front of your lens.
