Little question

Generally, round about, how far are most achromats from the GG? And or how far is the achromat from the camcorder...being a DVX100b

I believe the achromat should be right next to the camcorder lens. Its works like a macro lens to enlarge the image on the GG and make your camcorder focus easily on a GG placed say 20mm away. Without the achromat, I dont think the DVX can focus at 20mm distance from the GG (Ground Glass).
