Selling Letus35XL rev1 - Check Demo Footage
Hello all,
I wanted to let you guys know that I'm separating from my LetusXL35 rev1; including in the package is a 50mm Nikkor lens at f1.4 (the one that was used to shoot the demo footage.) It has cristal clear glass; no scratch nor fungus. The focusing ring is a little hard midway but does not prevent accurate focus. You can check footage shot with this adapter on a canon XL2 using the 50mm Nikkor: http://www.sysmicfilms.com/video/LetusXL_H264.mov (it's 8Mo, need QuickTime7, right click on the link and chose “save as…”) I’m selling this adapter because I’m getting ready to make the jump to the new 4k Red camera, and I need money for the down payment! I took really good care of the adapter and lens. If interested PM me. I gotta say that this is an amazing product. It made me so crazy about getting closer to film that I decided to make the big jump toward 4k. Nevertheless, I hope that you guys will appreciate the footage I was able to accomplish with this Letus. I truly think that the real digital film revolution was fostered by people like Quyen. Arno |

Hi Arnaud,
I don't know much about theses adaptors... but I might be interested in getting one. I have some questions: - Is this adaptor have the ability to filp the image, or you have to do it in post? - What is the difference between rev 1 and others revisions? - Do you have some pictures of it? - How much are you asking for? Thanks!

Yes it does flip the image internally so no need to do it in post.
The versions that came out afterwards offered a little less light loss to my understanding plus some adjustment for back focus. For the other info you asked contact me at aparis@sysmicfilms.com Thanks |

Just wanted to say good luck with selling this...I put my LetusXL v1 up for sale about 2 months ago, and didn't get a single bite. I still have it sitting here, so I guess it is my "backup" unit now. :(
