look at these pcx designs please help
Can someone please explain me the difference between using the pcx in front of the gg and behind it. I saw multiple designs but dont know which one is right to get rid of the hotspot. Some older designs use both pcx lenses.
The new movietube design i.e. uses the pcx behind the wax gg. The diy adapters with nikon d gg which implements a fresnel lens as pcx is in front of the gg. Now im totally confused which one is right. PS. Where is the PCX lens located in the brevis35, letus35... http://i12.tinypic.com/2e0tuh5.jpg http://i12.tinypic.com/2zq7whu.jpg thanks daniel |

The Brevis has no PCX. Doesn't need it. The Letus35 PCXL is between the GG and achromat. I find the optimum distance is as close to the achromat as possible.

I believe most, if not all designs are developed this way :
SLR > GG >> PCX >> ACHROMAT >> DV |
