Which Matte Box for Letus35XL?
My very EXPENSIVE matte box rig got "misplaced" on a shoot recently. What are you guys using that have the Letus35XL? I mainly shoot with Canon FD lenses when I mess around with the Letus.

I received the geardear mattebox yesterday, and I can say that the
pictures on their website don't do it justice I think. From the website, I get the impression that the mattebox is a little flimsey but I can say its not that at all. Its very robust yet very light as well. The pictures on their website makes it look like soft foam, but in my hands the material is much tougher and has a much blacker finish then the grey look on the website.

thank you for your recommendation. Only to be clear: you can use our mattebox for all SLR lenses, not only Nikons. If you have rods, you can take whatever lens behind the mattebox. And if you have threads on your lens (usually they have) you can even use it as a clip-on. Hi Wayne, nice to hear that you like it ;-) Maybe we have to take new pictures :-( Gerhard |

Wayne,
I was wondering how your Geardear matte box was working out? Has it been through some productions? Easy to setup and does what you need? Looks like a great deal for us indie folks. Thanks! |
