adapter rings
I've been reading through these forums and asking a alot of questions. So here's another one...lol. Sorry!
The Letus35A comes with either a 58mm or 72mm mount. If I'm getting the 58mm mount for use with let's say a pd170 for now but in future, I rent/buy a DVX instead, which type of adapter ring would be suitable for use? Could someone post links or pictures of suitable adapter rings? |

Adapter Rings
Hi Zul
You can probably get adapter rings at video shops or photo shops at Peninsular Plaza. If you get the 58mm Letus you probably have to stack 2 rings to get to 72mm cameras i think. The problem with stacking rings is that one might get stuck. In my case i stacked 3 rings - 43mm to 55mm to 72mm. Now i cant get the 43mm off the camera. http://www.camerafilters.com/pages/adapterrings.aspx is where you can order adapter rings from the US. If you do, maybe i might piggyback on your order :) cheers ys |

Woohoo, a fellow Singaporean! Actually, I've just made an order from ClubSnap, if you're familliar with it, for a 72-58 stepdown. Getting it this weekend.
Quyen, dont mind my asking, how many orders to Singapore have you got ever since you started production on the Letus35? |

but love the DOF look :) I wont comment on the quality/light loss at this point, wouldnt be fair to i guess... looking forward to setup test footage though.. |

I don't keep track of all my customers but I think about 3 or 4 orders from Singapore, thanks.

Hey
Yea, it is a forum and you'll need to register. It is under Mass Orders/Mass Sales sub forum. Keep a look out whenever someone is doing a mass order for accessories and such. I'm not lucky however because I ordered 52-72 step up and a 72-58 step down (sounds funny but they are both for diff purposes) but they are not available. I guess it's simpler to order through an online store? I dont have MasterCard or paypal so if you wanna make an order let me know. We can meet and I'll pass you the cash. But if there's a store locally that sells the above two, I'd rather buy from there instead lol. I'm not for stacking many rings. Last edited by Zulkifli Yusof; June 22nd, 2006 at 12:00 PM. |
