Letus35 and other lens
I'm a Letus35 owner (the older version). I'm happy with it using canon FD 50mm prime lens but I was wondering if anyone tried them with other mm lenses such as 28mm, or even 85. What would happen with the vignetting or the distorsion?

In terms of vignetting, the wider lenses usually give more vignetting. 28mm lenses are ok, but start going wider like 24mm or 18mm, and you will certainly start to see some vignetting. It does depend on the lens, a 24mm F2.8 will vignette more then a 24mm F2.0, in general.

Okay, I'm about to buy a 28mm or 35mm canon FD. Not sure which one yet...... but thank you very much for the advise.
By the way, here's something I shot using a sony minidv cam (1ccd) and the letus35 with a canon FD 50mm prime lens: http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2722881?htv=12 Colors were corrected with final cut. |
