I've used them for still photography,,, kinda gimiky, but fun for the effect.
What they do is tilt, shift, rise & fall... like a 4x5 perspective control... but without the lock-down control. I think they would be hard to use for video/film since they don't lock on focus but need to be push/pulled to focus... kinda like an acordion. with practice, and lots of "takes", one could make a good use of one though. also... the image quality ( in the "in focus" zone ) is not good... about as good as a cardboard disposable camera... although I'm used to hasselblad/4X5 quality so I'm biased toward sharp/hi-rez stuff. http://www.witzke-studio.com |

I have used on with an adapter - it's an interesting effect. Worth a coin toss for the money I think - but the "infocus" area is nothing like a good swing and tilt lens.
