Andromeda Dynamic Range vs Cinealta/Genesis Dynamic Range

Hi guys.
I just finished watching Sin City, and thought the images looked excellent (even in the behind the scenes green screen parts).

From what I understand, Robert Rodriguez was using the Sony Cinealta (which George Lucas used on Star Wars).

If normal DV has 7 stops of dynamic range lattitude, and the Andromeda gives 9.5 stops of dynamic range, then how much lattitude does an HD camera such as the Cinealta or Geneisis have?

Thanks for any input.
