cutting footage with and without adapter

i have a redrock m2 on the way, and i was wondering if users with a 35mm adapter shoot their entire project with the adapter on the camera. the look through the 35mm adapter has very different lighting and color saturation characteristics, and, in my mind, this would make sense to retain a consistent look throughout. however, there would definitely be cases where having the 35mm adapter on the camera would be tremendously inconvenient, like footage requiring a stabilizer. does anyone have experience editing between footage taken through a 35mm adapter and footage without one? also, has anyone had experience matching the look and feel in post?

thanks...
