Letus35A FX1 Footage

Aloha,

I have uploaded some stills of a resolution chart from my FX1 with the Letus35A and several different Nikon lenses. I also shot the chart without the Letus35A so you can see the difference.

Thanks for the effort. It seems like at least someone is getting 'normal results' on the high def sony. They're also quite honest in terms of abberation. Do you mind?

It's nice to see how the color abberation makes the images soft on the sides.

To be honest, I think they should be better to be useful. But I don't think that has anything to do with you. Do you like tinkering? The letus is excellent for playing around...

The aberation doesn't really bother me. Rolling the focus with something very blown out in the images looks pretty bad, so I think I'll avoid that.

I need to set up something a little more accurate for this type of test. Some of the shots I tilted the camera down. The cardboard I mounted the chart on wasn't always perfectly flat. I just printed the chart from the Internet, so I am not confident it is the correct size.

I just wanted to see the difference in a quick test and though someone else would find the footage interesting.

The biggest problem I have with the Letus35A is the noise from the GG. With lenses faster than f1.8 it is acceptable, but I have an f5 zoom that I don't think is usable. I get plenty of light for the image, but the GG noise it bad.
