The Letus should come with either a Nikon or a Canon FD mount as one end. Those flanges you see there are where the lens goes on. No, you can attach many different kinds of lenses as long as they have the mount you ordered with it--i.e., if you have the Nikon mount, you can attach a 50mm prime Nikon lens, or a 35mm prime Nikon lens, or a 50-200mm zoom Nikon lens, or whatever else comes with a Nikon mount--the whole purpose of the Letus is to give you freedom to use the wide variety of SLR lenses that are available.

Nooo--the lens has to be compatible with the Letus and therefore must have the same mount type as the Letus. "Mounts" aren't anything extra--they're simply part of the lens assembly. Did you order the Letus35 with the Nikon mount or the Canon FD mount? If you ordered the Nikon mount then any Nikon lens (which therefore has a Nikon mount built on it) would work.

I'm just wondering, What's the step down ring you used for the Letus35 to your camcorder? I'm new to this I don't know what the measurements are for the Letus35.

Thanks
