Face Motion Tracking
I'm curious if anyone ever seen or heard of someone hacking camcorder face motion tracking. Surely everyone seen those green squares that keep focus on the the subject's face. I was wondering if there's a mad scientist working in the field of video image processing who was able to tap into the face motion tracking to output it to a automated robotic drive/head on which a given camcorder is attached to. This way the camera can be set to keep the face in the shot autonomously while on a curved slider for multi-cam interview shooting.
Any comments are really appreciated. If this doesn't exist, it surely would enrich production value to small two-men multi-cam shoots. Any thoughts?
