Hi!
thank You for good words, and i also see this bags, this pictures is no so
good,
and we work on it.
as well, thank You for any hellp in this project, we need as more
information, as possible,
some info about our ideology- first- this picture just from camera, from
HDSDI interface-
but in real work we'll use RAW files from recorder to PC, as well with our
PC bord or with any other,
so You may debayer picture using any algorithm from Adobe- any You like, for
better picture.
(as well our next algoritm will be on new technology, in coooperation with
Moscow State Universaty
http://www.compression.ru/video/demo...ng_filters.pdf)
We use 1" CMOS 4mp custom sensor, (we try to work with many other sensors,
but it too many problems and not enogth speed, our sensor is on the same
technology as ARRi's D20 one.)
just now, we starting with HD size 16/9 in our camera, but with special
order it's possible as 5M with anamorthic lens or 3M with standart PL mount
35mm film lens-they have custom LVDS interface, so it's possible only with
our Flash Recorders)

Base system without LCD, and it work only with HD 1920x1080x24,25,30P
formats YUV, with HDSDI,
as well base FLASH RECORDER also work with standart HDSDI.
for recording RAW You need another model DC30 camera with LVDS connection
and LCD 8" as viewfinder
full set : Camera DC30 with LCD(26000) +FLASH DCFR model ($5300)=$31300
we not tested blackmagic board for RAW format,(will test later) so, you may
need our PC-x board (add 3500)
20G -~ 3 min uncompress video in YUV or 5min RAW.
LOSLESS compression will be available some later as software upgrade FREE,
(add 3 min video)
CMOS has 1' format ~=35mm film
Canon HD-SDI output?? may be SONY? - we use HDSDI as SONY
Cinealta -SMPTE292M
all models of our Flash recorders have HDSDI in/out and up to 160GB-24min HD
($38400)

I personally was there when those frame grabs were recorded. Actually they recorded it, because I went to Moscow to talk to them and they have set up the corner, the ones that you see in the pictures, to demonstrate the camera.

I am purchasing the camera, they promised me to ship one by october the 17th.

I think this is the best camera available at this moment.

You can all watch on TV from your satelites, the Kreml Tennis Tournament, they will use the camera there for slow motion effect.

I will update my feedback when I will own one and upload some clips and works I will do with it, so that you all can evaluate.

Wow, well I would like to see some images when you get the system, maybe even fly out to CA to look at the camera...your in CA right?

I am worried about shooting with no viewfinder...what are your thoughts on that?

No, unfortunately I am not in CA, I am in Georgia, but no the state Georgia but Republic of Georgia.

And yes, I am so uncomfortable with shooting without viewfinder, I asked them if they could make one with it, but they said not yet. But I think, that it is just a case of getting used to it.

As I know you have experience with Andromeda, do you like it? Or what is your evaluation? And what's up with your camera, are you going to finish it?

Hi All,
first- sorry for my english, next time will write carefully,
about our camera- it CMOS 21mm diagonal sensor, 4/5" (technology limitations...)
So, it have some 20% zoom effect with 35 mm lens, and about 30% on HD1920x1080 picture. I think it's not bad or not good, most important must be picture Quality, our next chip will be real 35mm.
If You need special Lenses for our camera- It's no problem,
place our special order.
about Viewfinder- our first product with 8" LCD TFT - on my mind- it's better, than small one- (better for focusing,)
but if anybody need small one, no problem, we' l do another one-0,8" with SONY chip. (not now, in march 2006)
All new information will be available some later on our site, and new, normal pictures too-)))
we have plane to start shipping in november, but now, some cameras are available for rent (worldwide too)
Best regards,
Alexander Kitaev
