Nuggets: A Galaxy454 Short Film
This is a short film that I was the DP for with my vx2000 and thorlabs tube lens adatper. the DOF effect is not very strong because my homemade wax screen has a very very thin layer of wax. But I like the way it looks anyway. The writing, directing, and acting is most important in my opinion. Courtesy of Adam Taylor at Galaxy 454.

OH god that Nuggets short film was absolutely hilarious. The only thing that took away from the production value was a combination of Tarbuck's acting and his distorted audio. Everything else was absolutely priceless.

Feedback
Ben,
yeah, the audio clips in Tarbuck's scene. But I think his performance was great. I'm glad it made you laugh. I shot it and I've seen it a dozen times, laugh every time. Did you watch all the way to the end, past the credits?? Anyone else have feedback? |

That was really funny and well put together. Congrats on it.
It was hard to tell if there was a shallow DOF because of the compression, but it looked pretty good overall. Comedy is a hard thing to grasp in film, I think you've got it! |

Hey Donnie,
Yeah I've watched it multiple times, sometimes all the way to the end, and it cracks me up every time. Not 'Big' 'cause he's strong, mind you, 'Big' 'cause he's fat. I am sure others have watched it, just didn't post. These are the ones that just stood there, til they's... blasted in the face with a musket ball. Guar-on-teed. Get m' point? P.S. Sean Humpy Chuthers' acting (as Samuel T. Bunyon) is what truly makes the whole thing. |

I just watched it a couple more times. I want to commend Terry Tuggs, Whett Wheetie, and F. Deacon Taylor (yes, despite his mere two lines) for terrific jobs. The more I watch it the funnier it gets.
You guys should update your Movies page to add Nuggets. And when is Karnov coming out? It looks awesome. The page said it's set to debut March 5th, five months ago. Put 'er up! Please!! :) |

Galaxy454 had to take the video off it's website because it went over it's monthly limit. Nuggets is still available on Triggerstreet.
Bill, thanks again for the enthusiasm! |
