Just got an 85mm lens today

Wow. It is old and used, but clean. Old Nikor. Got it off Ebay. Good price. It sure is neat doing those 60 Minute shots and blowing out the background.

It may even be one of those with a lot more movement of the focus ring required to go from CU to infinity, a bonus. If it is binding tight in one direction, get it serviced. The lube will have dried and if you push on and use it, you will be galling the focus threads due to metal-to-metal contact.
