buffing out a scratch?!
a piece of tape that was holding down a wire in my 35mm adapter scratched my rotating plastic cd in a uniform circle... anyone got a reccomendation on how to buff this out? the reason why i dont want to replace it, is because the cd is sandblasted and cut to fit the box. the scratch is on the non-sandblasted side.

I was told once that buffing with turtle wax can work...

i used some furniture polish with wax in it, and polished the disc... seems like the scratch got filled with the wax. you can see the scratch at an angle, but looking at it with my video camera, you cannot see it anymore. so its fixed for now!

What are you using that you had to sand down the CD to fit a box? Is it something other than a CD?
