James - lol. We are ALL anxious to get this going! I have 4 lomo primes I purchased (and a fifth one on the way), a DVX and no way to hook them together...yet!

Hey Craig,
Just wanted to let you know that we processed your guide order the day it was received (instead of waiting for Friday...). Thanks! james www.micro35.com |

Am I missing something here guys, but have we even seen some final footage from this thing? I haven't, and if not why are people going and buying guides already?
And information is so lacking it seems. Is it a static GG device, moving, what? There is bugger all information anywhere on this thing, and the website is appalling for info. I'm very interested but not too happy in plonking down a lot of cash for something that I'm not sure is decent. Some high res footage would be nice - even some in DV format. Aaron |

Hey Aaron!
Welcome to the Micro35 Project! It might do you some good to read through some of these forums first. Most of the questions you've asked have been answered in one thread or another. Thanks Aaron and glad to have you! james www.micro35.com |

Thanks James. I don't mean to sound grumpy I just think that if you're selling these things (The pictures of the unit look wonderful by the way) that the website could have lots more information on it, without people having to search through forums. Even a simple FAQ and some recent video images would be a start.
I'm tossing up between a guide and a finished rig so I need to know info about how much cheaper it is to DIY (If it is in fact cheaper) or not. It also seems that the design has changed a lot over time so I don't want to have to read, and discard info from the threads. Do you know how long it will take you guys to get some footage up of the finalised unit in action? Cheers Aaron |

I searched the main forum for 'LOMO' and found quite a few threads, from there I did a google for 'Russian Lomo Lenses' and found a number of sites with additional info:

Aaron -
btw, it IS a rotating gg design, and some unique design elements result in no grain (!) Personally, I'm waiting for the finished rig. Like you I'm a little antsy, but I don't want to build this thing out and f it up and then have to wait even longer!

Has anyone gotten their guides yet? Please post immediately when you do get yours :)
Hopefully, we will get them today. I was hoping I would see the UPS guy pull up yesterday, but no luck :( |
