ReelStream to debut final Andromeda at NAB
Hello DVinfo,
I am pleased to announce that the latest form of Andromeda, a device which sprouted from many months of discussion on this forum(was 4:4:4 12-bit Uncompressed DVX100) will be displayed at NAB 2005. When installed on a standard DV camera such as the Panasonic DVX-100A, Andromeda allows recording of the Uncompressed video right after it is digitized from the CCD's and before any of the internal camera hardware can affect the data. This allows for a maximum uncompressed recording quality of 4:4:4 and 36-bit color on the DVX, a dramatic increase in dynamic range, and up to 720P HD frame resolutions, making it one of the world's smallest completely uncompressed digital cinematography aquisition systems. The final pricing will be released during NAB, and it will be under the price of a new DVX, with very significant discounts for hardware beta testers. We are scheduled to begin installations shortly after NAB. For more information please stay tuned to our website, a huge update is scheduled for next week: http://www.reel-stream.com or feel free to email me directly: Juan@reel-stream.com Hope to see you at NAB!
