At least till we see JVC respond. But even if JVC cam is nearly as better they donīt have Panaīs fan comunity...

A DVCProHD camera is! At that price? Simply amazing. Those who can't spend a little more for this will have to make due with HDV. Really, if you're spending that much money it's not a huge problem to save a little more. Especially since a DVCProHD camera would last a LONG time without being "outdated"

Anyway I guess it will be 1280x720 and 8 bit......
So the homemade project will be for sure ahead, giving 10 to 12 bit without compression...... |
