Methods of grounding Glass

Hello Board,

I been searching all over this board and just cannot seem to find how Im supposed to grind the glass once I got the aluminum oxcide.

Is there a certain technique (rub up and down, rub in a circle??)?

how long does it take to ground it?

and how should it look after it's ground?

Im going to be grounding a UV filter, if thats any help to answering the questions.

Thanks,
Chad Rego
