Will Axxx35 work with Canon 3x?

Would A**35 work with Canon 3x?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=NavBar&A=getItemDetail&Q=&sku=146132&is=REG&si=spec#goto_itemInfo

It says that the min focusing distance is 3/4" which is desirable, yes?

but then another site has the minimum focus at 0.5m...quite a disparency. And Canon's site for video lenses is down unless there is another.

Edit: actually i thought about it some more and i think it'd be too wide, the gg projection would be a tiny, tiny thing and there'd be too much of everything else, too much vignetting.

This is a better link
