about olympus
i think that this camera, despite frame rate is kind of useless - because of CCD size. what is the advantage of that size?
[cutout from olympus page] • 1/1.8 " Type CCD • 7.4 million pixels total • 7.1 million effective pixels ... Movie clips • 640 x 480 (25 fps) up to 20 seconds • 640 x 480 (12.5 fps) 42 seconds ... i beleive that the best solution (at least on this alter' forum) is to find something what is VERY close to proper 35mm frame size. or i'm wrong? filip |

well that would address the dof problem but even so this sensor is almost 1/2 inch which would be better dof than 1/3 cameras- it's in how they sample the image - just thought it was interesting seeing that it's the first still camera outputing a video image at 25fps- but as always the proof is in the pudding !
