Redrock Encore on Sony Ex1 review

Philip,

Nice looking test. -as always. How sensitive would you say the new GG is compared to the old M2. Would you say its better by a full stop? a stop and a half? or two stops? The original m2 GG seemed to loose so much light, but had a good bokeh.

it would be a complete guess. The new one loses around 1/2 stop. The old one lost a heck of a lot more maybe 2 stops...?

Thanks for the review. Your comment about the benefit of LiveLens is well taken -- I've not purchased a 35mm adapter because the workarounds were so poorly described that they struck me as too DIY for my taste. And, to be honest, a solution involving a toothpick for which the problem is not gum pain isn't inspiring.
