Hi John,
Oddly enough, I believe it was this site that sparked Agus to begin his project several months ago. Funny how things come around again like this. |

Yes it is a "Jesus" double. It's a know russian jazz guitarist who was the perfect match for the jesus we were looking for. Old people are dancing in a cheesy club (heaven), when he starts singing with the woman's voice at the moment she enters the club with her companion.
We used the DV35M for the entire shot and turned the images into muddy 60-70th imagery in post. Our vision was to create an entire new look for this music video and not to mimic the standard glamourized, high-key, stiff look inherent to most recent music videos. Something more subtle which would fit the music. We've shot a 30sec commercial with the adaptor, which was sold and broadcast in Russia in April/May 2003 and I'm just starting to start a feature length documentary with the DV35M. Cheers everybody. Nicolai http://www.kopfrauschen.de PS.: The reason why I didn't participated in the long Agus35 and other adaptor thread: It is simply too long and unlike I'm eager to see what others build, to see their approaches, often the discussions stood still on the technical level. i.e. we should shoot films, music videos, documentarys etc. with our new "toys" not always do tests, test, test clips, another test clips etc. A perfect setup would be grat nonetheless ;-) |

Hi Gaston,
we did a kind of setup inspired by yours using a Nikon F-2, we did shoot a short movie using it, here's the thread about it: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=21567 You can also checked it on our website www.anotherstateofmind.be (first thumb in short movie) Your site and productions are really great ! We hope you'll have some time checking our site and yeah, technic is one thing but it's so more fun when you use it on something other than just tests :-) Thanks again and again for the inspiration !!
