LETUS EXTREME + SONY HVR-Z1P + SIGMA 50-500mm
Here is a link to a test I did with the Sigma 50mm-500mm f4-f6.3 zoom.
http://exposureroom.com/members/DARA...6a3343879664d/ There is some artifacting visible in the sky areas at the f6.3 end of the zoom range however it is not too intrusive. I use this combination to enable me to get close enough to pick up control surface movements. You can observe the elevators rise just before the point of lift-off. I shot my most recent UWOL entry with the Letus, and I have to say I was pretty happy with the results. Utilising some really strong sunlight I got away with using a 2x extender on a 70-210mm lens, which got me quite close in for some shots of birds. Looking to pick up a 400mm prime and have a play with it too.I did struggle with DOF control on anything moving, but i guess that will get better with practice ;-)
