EOS mount
I saw a Phillip Bloom mention that Letus was coming out with an Eos mount that will allow iris control. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks, James |

James,
I can confirm this to the extent that Hien (From Letus Corp.) has told me they're working on it. I don't know when it will be out though. There is a way to stop down the aperture on EF lenses. You need your DSLR camera body and your camera needs to have the Depth Of Field Preview button (which most have today). If you'd like to know how to do this let me know.

Thanks Shiv,
I'm aware of the workaround...wish there was an eta on that mount though. Cheers, James |

I would just love it if my 85mm f1.2 II would focus manually on my ex... the rest of my L lens's still have man focus without being on a canon body.... but this monster has electronic manual focus...... so bummed when I found this out.
By the way.... my fav on the ex1/extreme is the 35mm f1.4 L..... wonderful look! If the letus boys could make a wireless focus control mount.... they would have something really special!... but I'd settle for a knob hanging off the extreme. |
