Letus Run & Gun Setup...
Well, Kevin Lee showed his "run & gun" setup, so I thought I'd post a shot of mine. Pretty basic... Questions?

When you're focusing the lens, doesn't the whole setup become off balanced since you're now only holding it by one handle?
What kind of should pad is that? How do you change the battery on the HV20? Do you have to remove the camera first? |

The good thing about the birns & sawyer is that it's handles are adjustable. It can be balanced using one handle for focusing. HERE it is.
Indeed, I do have to remove the camera to get to the battery, athough, I could shift the whole thing backward if I needed it exposed. -C |

What is the weight of just the support rig? BH review says it's rather heavy..

That review seemed bogus. It's light and able to support a bunch of weight. I don't care for some of the tensioner points though. When you hand tighten them they get a bit rough after the weight of the camera and are sometimes hard to remove.
