Some Letus Extreme question
I'm thinking of a Letus Extreme but I want to use it with Lomo lenses. Is there anybody using this set up? How does it perform?
Is it possible to invert the LEX and have it pointing up rather than down when set up with the EX1? Thanks. |

Yeah, with the HD100 you have to have a relay. The Letus HD100 relay though doesn't seem to be too good. I hope the next generation will be better. The problem is if it's really good it will also be expensive. I think that is the reason the Letus HD100 really is not that great, it's very cheap considering. In optics you can't really cut many corners. You see that just the new achromat for the EX1, which needed to be of very high quality costs 350. A good relay will probably be at least 3 times that considering the complexity to design such a lens to overlay a HD image over such a small chip.
About the Lomo footage, is it Letus extreme footage or the other Letus? I couldn't find anything. |
