Is this Redrock Follow Focus Broken or in need of adjusting
I got it 2nd hand from a guy that said it was like new. But I'm worried its a dud. Can it be adjusted to work better? In one direction it just slips so much it is unusable. In the other direction it is ok but not 100% perfect. Here's the 720p link http://www.escapeeplanes.co.uk/video..._broke_720.mov

I had a similar problem with an indifocus unit - I just pulled it apart and tightened everything up. My guess is that's the problem - look for small allen screws that hold the gear onto the shaft and try to work out exactly where it's slipping.

Thanks man - I got out the tiny allen key tightened up the box without having to open up anything, and it now works a treat :D
I'm very happy :)
