Commercial shot with MINI35/JVC GY-HD100

Here is a link to a commercial shot with the Mini35-400 on a KVC GY-HD100. The limo interiors were shot with 14mm f2.8 Nikon or 12mm-24mm f4 Nikon zoom (my memory of this is a bit vague) and a f3.5 8mm Peleng Fisheye.

That looked great (on youtube anyways)

That opening shot was top notch. Can you give more details about the production? How was it shooting night exteriors?

From memory, they did the streetscape au-natural with added lighting powered from a small generator in back of a utility to highlight the girl.

I think there may have been 3db video gain dialled in on the camera.

Their outdoors lighting kit consisted of redhead and flouro light.

The P+S Skater dolly was used for dynamic moves in the streetscape.

The nightclub stage ambience was shot against a greenscreen in a studio with lots of lights and lenses chosen for shallow DOF.

Giuseppe.

I have emailed your comment on to the director. I was only one of the crew on this project as guart ant at rear of the equipment van or transporting lenses.

Bob, the commercial looked great, I am sure you've enjoyed working on it?
Would love to see it at a better resolution, would it be possible?

Oleg.

I have mentioned requests for higher resolution copies on the internet to the director. He is right in the middle of a feature shoot at present, so I don't think anything can happen for some time yet. It could be ripped from late weekend night broadcasts but it would only be SD PAL from that source.

The clip now belongs to the band who commissioned it. Maybe they might post a higher res version. I will enquire.
