G35's Cinemek back?!?!

www.cinemek.com

God only knows how long I have waited for this moment.
Lets only hope it's not simply a website update from a web designer with too much time on his hands.

Wow, I thought it was dead! That is great news if it is true. There isn't any indicator besides a change of front page to indicate anything going on, but you never know.

This always blew me away: http://media.libsyn.com/media/hvx/chicago.mov
It's from the OLD G35...which sets the bar REALLY high for the NEW G35. Man, am I excited about this.

I hope not if it has no moving parts.

I've seen a lot better from the G35. That clip seems to be with a focusing screen that barely diffuses. The background may look a bit blurred, but all the detail is still there; look at the fence for example.

Anyhoo I think the G35 has to go through a major overhaul if they expect to use the same focusing screen we've seen before yet with no moving parts.

Hey Ben, let me know where your garbage can is ;-) If all my footage looks as good as this with the G35 I'm happy. But I know that a lot of changes were done since this video was shot and they are even calling it an "HD imaging device" now...so lets hope for the best.
