Sony HD1000U + 35mm adapter Good choice?
I'm an SGPRO owner, but I still don't have a camcorder.
So I'm still searching for one, my budget: 1500 euros. I'm considering the HD1000U, it has manual controls, looks massive, has HDMI out, etc. + SGpro, follow focus and a mattebox. = good choice? I'll be using the camcorder for my schoolwork (filmschool) and for making some money with corporate films. Or should I just start looking for a second hand camcorder? Thx! |

get a 3 chip camcorder. this is an amateur single cmos cam dressed up to look pro. no progressive scan. in your school work you need good audio, this cam doesnt have xlr inputs. you will need as much color info and resolution as much as you can when using your cam in corporate and a 35mm lens adapter.
