Letus Extreme vs M2?
Ok... So kind of a naive question I know... But can anyone out there think of why an M2 HD bundle would be better than the Letus Extreme?

You'd have the security and support of a larger company over a smaller one.

Letus product support and availability
Hi Doug,
I am going to be coming down to Atlanta to demo the Letus Extreme sometime before Christmas (I am from Atlanta but live in NYC). Not many of the adapter vendors actually do much in the way of bringing the product to you. We are doing that (within reason) at Letus because this particular product essentially sells itself once you try it out. Let me know what you want to see out of the Letus and I will try and accommodate you with what kit I do have. As for support and availability, I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you take a look through the forums at the Le brothers responses to inquiry or the comments about their support. The even better news is that it only gets better as they move forward. Also Letus will be available from major retailers starting almost immediately. ~drew |

Good call on the Extreme Doug, certainly looks like the adapter to get at the moment.

Letus now available from B&H
So the Letus line is now available at B&H Photo Video as well as the Letus website. Just do a search on "Letus35".
B&H will be stocking them as soon as they ship - for now they have it listed as special order. I am working on Abel Cine at the moment... (The reason I post this here, on this thread, is that there is usually some questionable regard for a product unless it is available from a reliable vendor. This should go a long way to establishing confidence in our products - and B&H is a supporting member of DVinfo). |

Stocking dates
That's cool but not sure about that 7-14 day time frame listed. That's not a very realistic number. Can't even get them straight from the source that fast.

B & H photo always put 7-14 days for special ordered items. It doesn't change item by item. It means nothing.
In fact something I ordered from them with this lead time took three months to come into stock before I got it (although this was Cavision's fault as they are very slow at getting new parts to suppliers) |
