The sound of the Letus

The motor is virtually silent when running, making it practical to still use the built in mic.

Here's a quick sample I shot with the Letus, motor engaged:

I like it, crickets and a trickle of water; that's quiet! I just placed an order for the 35FE. I'm excited, seeing the quality of the video.

I have a question about lenses. The Letus was a good investment, but it set me back a bit. Doing a quick search for compatible lenses on B&H, I found some inexpensive brands. (Phoenix, Vivatar, Tokina.) Does anyone have experience using these brands? Or should I look for higher quality used equipment?
Thanks!

I use Nikon lenses and I bought all of them on eBay without a problem. I would recommend either Nikons or Canons.

Which lenses do you use? Obviously a 50mm but what else?

I'm wondering which noise do Brevis and Redrock produce.
Steven, I read a couple of days ago you had that merlin sabilizer. Did you already take anything with that thing?

regards

Haven't had much time to do much with the Merlin yet. I'll post something when I do.

The lenses I use with the Letus are:

Nikon 28mm f2.8
Nikon 50mm f1.8
Nikon 100mm f2.8
