Question about RODE SM5 shockmount
In the bottom 2 holes are drilled to access the screw i suppose, should'nt these two holes have internal threads(1/4 x 20 and 3/8 x 16)for using it with tripod or boompole?
Because in the package is mentioned that i can attach the shockmount to the tripod or boompole, but i don't see how.... |

I just grabbed one from our stock and opened it up to check for you.
Ours have 3 holes. Here you can see a boom pole with a 3/8" stud snuggly inserted into a RODE SM5 shockmount. |
