Zeppelin for ENG camera work?

Is it possible to use a zeppeling on camera? Is it too long? Possible to mount in the shoe?

I have the JVC HD110 and I shoot a lot in the nature where the wind is strong and I need a good windscreen protector. I use a Rode NTG-2.

I'm not sure the Rycote Softie is good enough.

I've been looking at this zeppelin from K-tek :
