C Stand advice for mounting boompole - Help!
I find myself short a boom operator and am looking for advice on what to get. I assume I need to get a C Stand and boom pole holder along with a Hollywood grip head.
What C Stand do you recommend and is this package missing anything? You might consider this c-stand package instead, as it includes a complete setup with grip head and arm, making the stand more versatile for general lighting/grip use as well as your sound boom. (you'd not need the additional mathews head if you went this route.)
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...and_Black.html And of course the boom pole holder. Be aware that you may need some sandbags, depending on the extension and weight of your pole and mic. Also, this is pretty much a setup for a solo interview or actor, as, once the pole is in the holder there isn't a good way to re-aim in the middle of a take. |

Doesn't work. I have the latest version of QuickTime and all I get is the QT logo with a question mark.
