match back cd audio to picture at DVinfo.net

Are there any wrokflows for matching dialogue from a cd back to picture:

I'm putting together a conference, with un-even cam coverage (i.e. uneven audio coverage) and was givven the audio from the conference on cd. I am having major synch issues due to the difference in sample rates.

Are there any easy solutions for converting the cd audio to 48k so it will sync in the nle.

I'm using a G5 powermac running final cut studio. The cd is an audio cd.
