My first recording with an NT3 and cheap preamp
Here’s a little vlog clip with my new mic and preamp/ audio interface. The mic is a Rode NT3 hypercardioid. The preamp/audio interface is the ART Tube MP Project Series w/ USB going straight into my PC to Adobe Audition.
I recorded in a "podcast style", about 4' from my PC, and didn't clean up the track with filters or anything, other than remove some of my stammerings. http://www.brownland.org/blog/2007/0...uction-and-vo/ My goal is to use this mic for interviews and interior dramatic stuff, and the occasional VO. I'll need to A/B the preamp vs. the on-board preamp on my new Canon XH-A1 to decide which to use for location shooting. Brian Brown BrownCow Productions |
