Creating that "Criminal" distorted phone voice.
You know when the kidnapper makes a phone call and he uses a device to distort his voice. Making it sound deeper, distorted, and maybe a little slower.
Anyone know how to create this effect? I'm using Adobe Audition 1.5 Thanks, Mike |

Yep:
From the drop down windows menu: Effects>Time/Pitch>stretch.
Play with the percentage slider and maintain tempo. Then use the telephone bandwidth preset in Effects>Filters>FFT filter. There are a few to choose from... |
