Adding an In-Line Switch to the Audio Technica 892 Microset

I have an Audio Technica 892 Microset (an omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone) c/w four-pin hirose connection and wish to add an in-line switch to facilitate switching on/off, or I guess more accurately to mute the 892 from the Sony UWP beltpack, rather than trying to fiddle with the small buttons on the beltpack. (Gosh that was a long sentence)

My thoughts were to cut the audio lead from the 892, about six inches or so from the hirose and add an in-line switch.

Does anyone have any information on how the switch should be wired and where I can buy such a switch?

Many thanks
Neil

I think I recently saw a switch similar to that at B&H. It might be worth a look and/or a call to them.
