I checked the cord, and I only got continuity on the sleeve-pin1. Seems kinda weird, I tried several times to make sure I was getting the probe in the right place. I'm still just getting the left channel, so that makes me suspicious of my test methodology - or could it have some circuitry in there that requires more volts than my voltmeter puts out to check continuity?

I think I will be saving up for a small portable mixer...
