Bag for HD-P2?
Has anyone found a bag for carrying their HD-P2 in the field? I'm looking for something that provides easy access to the controls and a place to keep mics, battery spares, etc.
What's up with the shoulder strap attachment? At first I thought the clips were well engineered, but they're noisy. |

I ended up getting the shoulder bag that is designed for the HD p2 by Tascam. Its cheep and it works.
I’ve read reports that claim the Portabrace buries many of the controls making difficult to operate. These are just rumors, not from my experience. The Tascam bag does not provide the weatherproofing that the Portabrace does, so take that into account when making you decision. |

Good point, but the PortaBrace case allows mounting a mixer, which is important in my case - I have my soundman output a wireless signal to the camera so I don't have to slate for sync issues...
Actually, unless you're working in really bad weather, it's fine... I don't have any major problems with access.. as long as files are pre-recorded on the cards.. if you have to do that on location, it is cumbersome (menus are sorta a bitch)... |

The Portabrace bag for the HD-P2 looks like it might work for my needs. Thanks for the reecommendation.
